Ikkis collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no server, no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK. Everything the app remembers is stored on your own device, and the sections below say exactly what that is.
This is held in your browser's IndexedDB storage (or the app's private storage on Android, with Android's own cloud backup switched off). It never leaves the device: nothing about your practice, your stats or your streak is sent anywhere, and the app fetches nothing in order to run — even the type faces are bundled inside it rather than pulled from a font service. There is nothing for us to see, and nothing in transit for anybody else to intercept.
The one thing that does talk to the outside world is the purchase: opening the Pro screen asks Google Play whether this account already owns Ikkis Pro, and buying goes through Google Play Billing. That conversation is between your device and Google, and it carries no practice data.
Ikkis has no user accounts, no profiles, no usernames, no friend lists, no chat, no comments and no leaderboard of other players. Nothing you do in the app is visible to anyone else, because there is no mechanism by which it could be. The records the app keeps — your streak, your challenge calendar, your accuracy — are yours on your own device and are not ranked against anybody.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. This is not a promise about how we behave with data we hold; it is a consequence of holding none.
The daily challenge has a Share button. It writes four lines of text — the app's name, the date, your score for the day and your month's tally — to your device's share sheet or clipboard, and stops there. Nothing is posted, uploaded or sent by Ikkis. Where that text goes next is entirely your decision, and whatever you paste it into is governed by that app's own privacy policy rather than this one.
The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. No push service is involved and no token is sent anywhere. Permission is requested on your second visit, never on the first, and you can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.
Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Ikkis never sees or stores your payment details; Google's own privacy policy governs that transaction. A development build can flip a local switch so the paid screens can be tested. A production build grants Pro only after Play reports the product owned.
Settings → Delete all data erases your streak, stats, history, settings and chip balance immediately and permanently, and switches the daily reminder off. The one thing it keeps is the record that you confirmed your age, so the app does not ask again on the same device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing site data in your browser, removes that too. There is no copy anywhere else to delete.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights to access, correct and erase personal data a company holds about you, and similar rights exist elsewhere. Ikkis holds none, so there is no request for us to answer and no identity for us to verify: everything the app knows is on your screen in Profile and Stats, editable in Settings, and erasable in one tap. If you write to us anyway, we will say the same thing in writing, within 30 days.
Ikkis is for adults only. The app asks you to confirm you are 18 or older before it opens, and it is listed for an audience of 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone of any age, children included, because we do not collect information.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version is published here and at the same address inside the app. A change that would mean the app starts collecting something would be announced in the app before it took effect, not quietly posted — and, because Google Play publishes what an app collects, it would have to be declared there too. If you disagree with a change, uninstalling deletes everything the app holds.
